Following an early wake up at around 6.00 with a cup of coffee or tea brought to your room. You will meet your guide at the carpark and head off with him to collect an armed ranger from HQ and then carry on to meet the scouts in the field, where you will disembark from the vehicle and spend the next few hours on foot tracking rhino. You will scan the landscape for rhino and discuss where the rhino was last seen. Once a plan of action has been made, whilst watching the most incredible sunrise, the tracking begins. You will follow the scouts right through the heart of the bush, discovering waterholes, looking for foot prints and battling through the thicket. Once you have located the rhino, you will observe it for around 10 minutes, giving you the ideal opportunity to grab a photo or two, and then quietly retreat. If you are feeling fit you can walk back to the lodge or a vehicle can come and pick you up.
